Sony announced four new IPs and confirmed two sequels at Gamescom today.

Developed by Sony's Japan Studio, the PSN-exclusive Rain is a puzzle/platformer wherein players control an invisible boy on a quest to save a girl. The boy’s movements can be tracked as he walks in the rain, steps in puddles, and bumps into things.

Puppeteer is a PS3 2D platformer from Sony Japan Studio with a LittleBigPlanet aesthetic. It features a boy who is transformed into a puppet. His head is then bitten off, granting him the power to wear new heads. He wields a pair of magical scissors as one would a sword.

Move title Until Dawn is Supermassive Games’ attempt to bring the teen horror experience to PlayStation, and is inspired by that genre’s classic movies. The Move acts as the player’s torch, among other things.

Tearaway is a Vita title from LittleBigPlanet creators Media Molecule, which looks to capitalise on the Vita’s multiple input devices. The player is trapped a paper world where everything is interactive. The Vita’s touch screen, rear touch panel, tilt controls, microphone, and cameras will all allow players to alter the in-game environment.

Sequels Killzone Mercenary and Ratchet & Clank: QForce were confirmed for PS Vita.
