The Ouya has its first confirmed game – a prequel to in-development survival horror game Human Element.

Developer Robotoki are developing Human Element for next-gen consoles, PC, mobile, and tablets, and is aiming for a 2015 release according its president, Call of Duty veteran Robert Bowling.

The prequel content will be exclusive to the Ouya, and will be released in an episodic fashion.

“[Robotoki] will work with the Ouya team and bring you an exclusive episodic look at the world as it develops and collapses over the course of the event happening to give you a look at some of the survivor scenarios and elements that you can expect from the full game in 2015,” said Bowling.

Human Element features three character classes: action, intelligence, and stealth, as well as three identities: survive alone, survive with a partner, or survive with a young child.

“How you choose to start in the world will determine how you can engage and impacts the scenarios you will be presented with on a physical and morality level,” Bowling explained.

The Ouya Kickstarter, as of this post, had raised US$5,166,897 (NZ$6,431,919) from 40,447 backers, and still had 20 days to go.

Bowling donated $10,000 to the Kickstarter.
