A serious volleyball simulation this is not. Let's make that very clear right from the outset. Actually, one look at the sceenshots (scroll down) and you will likely work that out for yourselves...

This game is allll about the bootay. Tecmo have taken all the hottest babes from their Dead or Alive series (the latest version of which, Dead or Alive 3, is currently kicking ass and taking names on the Xbox), dropped them at an island resort and given them nothing to do but play Volleyball.

With fantastic visuals and... er... unique menu options ("bouncing: on or off?" is one of them - and it has nothing to do with a small leather ball), this game looks set to take the armchair gamer to new levels of excitement.

Dead or Alive Xtreme Beach Volleyball is going to be available to play and end relationships all over New Zealand in January 2003 for the Microsoft Xbox. We'll have more new screenshots coming soon - so stay tuned!
