Mech Assault, from Microsoft, is big. It's all about huge human-controlled robots (or 'mechs, to those in the know) battling toe to toe in huge and interactive environments. Check out the features!

    * Massive destruction on a whole new level
    Use the environment to your advantage - running low on ammo? Biff a building at your foe instead of filling him with high explosive. If you miss your target, hitting a building instead, watch as you expose the guts of the building (and possible snipers!) and shower the street with glass.
    * A powerful array of devastating walking tanks
    Lots of mechs are available for you to choose from, each with their own play style and a vast aresenal of incredibly powerful artillery.
    * Online, system-link and split-screen multiplay
    In addition to being capable of split screen (2 people on one xbox) and system link (hook up two xbox systems for double the fun) multiplayer, Mechassault ships with full xbox online capability out of the box. If xbox live makes it down under, you'll have the experience and the ability to go at it online.
    * Amazing special effects
    This game is all about action and, like a good hollywood blockbuster, it has the special effects necessary to really blow you away. Watch in awe as you duck a rocket to have it detonate on the building behind you, vapor trails and explosions litter the screen as glass and metal shower onto you and the street below. This is a "wow" game to show off to your friends, folks, make no mistakes about that.
    * Epic BattleTech storyline
    BattleTech has been around for more than 15 years and this game draws on the rich storylines already established by the series of games and books before it. Don't worry though, you don't need to know anything at all about the series to get into it - all you do need to know is that the story isn't just tacked on.

Check out the screenshots to get an idea of what this game is all about - be warned, though, these shots will see you salivating!
