Information pulled from the Xbox Live API SDK earlier this year showed that new games in the Fable, Perfect Dark, and MechAssault franchises might be on the way to Xbox One and Windows 10. Could some of them show up at E3?

CONFIRMED (or might as well be)

Crackdown 3
An open world action title announced at E3 2014, Crackdown 3 was originally supposed to release in 2016. It was then pushed back to coincide with the launch of the Xbox One X, and then delayed again into autumn of this year. Rumour has it the game’s campaign will support four-player co-op.

Ori and the Will of the Wisps
Announced at the last E3, this console exclusive from Moon Studios is a sequel to 2015 artful platformer Ori and the Blind Forest.

This Kiwi game has been in the spotlight at E3 before, and we’re praying for a release date this time around.

The Last Night
This cinematic sci-fi platformer showed up last E3, and looks pretty damn great.

Finally! Announced in 2013 and delayed multiple times, Capybara’s roguelike survival procedurally-generated dungeon crawler seems to be on the cusp of release. A bunch of hands-on impressions went live this year, so it can’t be far away.

It looks like Bohemia Interactive’s open world survival shooter will finally see a full release on PC this year, and Bohemia Interactive is aiming to have it on Xbox’s Game Preview service as well.

Forza Horizon 4
A game outed by the SDK leak, FH4 is supposedly set in Japan. It has been the subject of leaks elsewhere too, but perhaps the most compelling argument for an E3 showing is that starting in 2012, a Forza Horizon title has released every second year.

Fable 4
According to the SDK leak, a UK Studio is handling this one. Eurogamer sources claim that Forza Horizon’s Playground Games is the studio in question, and it was revealed last year that Playground Games is working on an open world action RPG, so that all fits. Perhaps we’ll get a cinematic.

E3 Predictions: Sony, MS, Ninty, EA

Halo: The Master Chief Collection on PC
This one has been rumoured for ages. Talking about Halo: MCC coming to PC, 343 Industries said, "We know this is something many people have been asking and wanting for years now. Currently, our priority is updating and improving MCC for Xbox and there's still plenty of work to be done on that front… while we have no official plans to announce at this time, we've heard you loud and clear." In April, head of Xbox Phil Spencer tweeted, "As we look ahead, we’re very excited about the prospects of an official classic Halo experience making its way to PC.”

Perfect Dark
Here’s another game whose existence was suggested by the SDK leak. Apparently it’s a third-person game and Gears 4 studio The Coalition is helping out on it. On top of that, last month Rare replied to someone tweeting about finding Perfect Dark merch in their attic: “Right on time, it'll be summer shortly”. Hmmm.

E3 Predictions: Sony, MS, Ninty, EA

Gears of War 5
A WalMart listing for this one popped up (and was subsequently removed) overnight. Given that The Coalition unveiled Gears 4 at E3 in 2015 and released it 18 months later, it's entirely possible we'll get a teaser for Gears 5 and a 2019 date.

E3 Predictions: Sony, MS, Ninty, EA

Yup, another franchise mentioned in the SDK leak. The only reason it’s in the “unlikely” category is we haven’t seen it mentioned in any other leaks.

E3 Predictions: Sony, MS, Ninty, EA

Halo Battle Royale
“I would love to have a really high player-count (connections per session) for Xbox biggest franchise,” said the leaker of the Xbox SDK. Sounds like Halo battle royale to us, but with most large publishers scrambling to incorporate battle royale modes into their shooters, sure this is a long way off?

Age of Empires 4
Age of Empires 4 is supposedly a thing, but also supposedly “years away”.

E3 Predictions: Sony, MS, Ninty, EA
