Report: Halo remake coming November

According to sources cited by website Joystiq, the rumoured remake of Halo: Combat Evolved will be released on November 15th for Xbox 360.

According to the source, the game has received a visual update with entirely new assets and the control scheme will mimic more recent Halo games but the audio has been left untouched. It is not being built on the engine used to create Halo: Reach. The remake is also rumoured to include online functionality.

The source also says that Saber Interactive is undertaking the work. The studio’s last game was TimeShift.
