EA has admitted that Medal of Honor: Warfighter hasn’t sold as well as it hoped it would, but that it nonetheless stood behind the product.

At a financial earnings call CEO John Riccitiello acknowledged that the game simply came in below expectations.

EA Labels president Frank Gibeau said that EA "takes quality very seriously", and that EA was not happy with critics as EA's own internal testing showed that Warfighter was much better game than the critical community claimed it was.

The game had a receptive audience and would be supported with DLC, the company said.
