Ubisoft has scrapped its controversial always-on DRM system for the PC edition of Assassin’s Creed: Brotherhood.
Website vg247 quotes the publisher as saying, “Ubisoft confirms that the PC version of Assassin's Creed: Brotherhood, after an initial login, will be playable offline in single-player mode.”
Ubisoft launched the DRM scheme last year with the release of Settlers 7 but ditched it for the release of strategy title RUSE.
