Coinciding with Detroit AutoWeek, Xbox 360 has launched the Forza Motorsport 3 AutoWeek Show Pack on Xbox LIVE.
For 400 Microsoft Points, Forza 3 racers can download a car pack that contains some of 2010’s most exciting new vehicles, including the 2010 Ford Shelby GT500, the 2010 Chevrolet Corvette Grand Sport and the 2010 Aston Martin One-77.
For those who would like a free test drive, Turn 10 is also offering the 2009 Lotus 2-Eleven as a complementary download.

Microsoft have announced that at launch, Forza 3 will receive a free Game Add-on car and track pack, available exclusively by way of a one-time-use token card included in every new copy of Forza Motorsport 3.
In addition, developers Turn 10 have lifted the curtain on the more than 400 cars and 100 tracks to be featured in Forza 3. The garage roster includes 30 Ferraris and 28 Porsches, as well as cars not previously available in any racing game, such as the new Aston Martin DBS, Dodge Viper SRT-10 ACR, and the 2009 Acura ARX ALMS race car. Forza 3 players will be the first to fully paint, customize, and tune these cars.
Additionally, the Motorsports Legends Car Pack will deliver ten classic race cars and roadsters, on top of two extra tracks: the new Benchmark High Speed Ring and the returning circuit Sidewinder Proving Grounds. On Oct. 27, this pack will be available via a one-time-use token card included in every new copy of Forza 3.
Microsoft has announced that Forza Motorsport 3 has gone gold, entering its final lap before launching on Oct. 23 exclusively for Xbox 360.
To mark the occasion, Microsoft and Turn 10 today confirmed that a demo will arrive on Xbox LIVE Marketplace starting Sept. 24.

Turn 10 released some new screenshots of Forza Motorsport 3 over the weekend, simultaneously confirming that the next version of the popular Xbox 360 racer will include cars and tracks from the oldest and most prestigious endurance race in the world, the 24 Hours of Le Mans.
The developer partnered with Peugeot Sport to make the announcement at the 77th Le Mans in Sarthe, France. Peugeot's top driver, Stéphane Sarrazin, has acted as a consultant to Turn 10, helping them recreate the famed Circuit De La Sarthe (in both Le Sarthe and Bugatti configurations) as accurately as possible.

E3 was a chance for me to get my game on, and what better time to run around getting hands on time with the next batch of racers? I was able to try out the majority of the big titles despite Gran Turismo 5 evading my radar.
