Konami has dated its three upcoming Silent Hill products, Downpour, the HD Collection and Book of Memories, for US release in March this year.
The HD Collection, which includes remastered editions of Silent Hill and Silent Hill 2, will be released on the 6th of March for PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360.
Silent Hill Downpour, the next instalment in the series by new developer Vatra Games, will be released on the 13th of March.
Silent Hill: Downpour has been delayed into next year. The survival horror title is now scheduled to be released in the first calendar quarter of 2012, between January and March.
The game was originally scheduled for release on Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 in November.

Konami's Silent Hill: Downpour, the eighth instalment in the Silent Hill series, sees another new developer take the reigns of this franchise. At the helm is European studio Vatra Games, which is comprised of former employees of 2K Czech.
You play as Murphy, a convict whose prison bus went careening off-road and was remarkably spared from the tragedy. With the shady canopy of the Konami booth providing the appropriate masochistic "lights off" atmosphere that is so complementary to Silent Hill, we start the playable demo.
The game begins with a walk into an abandoned gas station where the first prudent action to deploy involves a quick look back over the shoulder. This button will surely be useful in a tactical way in the final version of the game, but in the demo it simply heightened the mood.
Konami has today released further information about Silent Hill 8, now subtitled Downpour.
In particular, the publisher has confirmed that the game will be released for Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 in spring (NZST) this year.

Gamers will encounter mind-bending puzzles, as well as horrific creatures and other world terrors using everyday objects from wooden chairs to glass bottles to fend off their enemies. The natural response, fight or flight is left to the player as they unravel a dark, thought-provoking storyline which will appeal to fans of the early, classic Silent Hill series, as well as anyone who enjoys a deep, psychological horror experience. In addition to the main storyline, players will also be presented with variable side quests along the way that can change depending on their play style, revealing unknown evils within the town.
