Really quite pissed that 2K decided to go this route for XCOM. If they were making an actual X-Com game in addition to this trite non X-Com title I would be a little more generous. The game might actually be pretty good, its just irritating that they are ignoring the original trilogy (mostly UFO, and Terror from the Deep) which the vast majority of the franchises fans want and were initially expecting.

Dont call it XCOM, becuase from whats been shown it has very little to do with the X-Com ip.

mind you what do you expect from the team that made the pointless and bland Bioshock 2. One sequel that didnt need to be made, and actually missed the point of the first game entirely.

This, there's nothing in that trailer that makes me go "Oh yeah its like an FPS XCOM"

i can only imagine what 2k games were thinking when they got the IP
