Deep Silver has announced the first downloadable content for open-world zombie title Dead Island.

Called “Ryder White”, the DLC gives players control of the game’s antagonist. It will also provide new insight into the game’s main story, demonstrate White’s motivations, and show him as both a military man and a husband.

Deep Silver says the content will bring several hours of new gameplay, as well as two new blueprints and weapons.

The Ryder White DLC is to launch on the 1st of February for 800 Microsoft Points, and should cost approximately $16 on the PlayStation Network and Steam.
