Square Enix have today put a date on the sequel to 2006’s Just Cause, saying it’ll be on shelves in New Zealand on the 26th of March.
Just Cause 2 will see Rico Rodriguez roaming over 1000 square kilometres South East Asian archipelago, from remote beaches and mountainous jungles to bustling cities. Rodriguez will be exploring this sandbox with the help of over 100 vehicles, his grappling hook and a parachute.
He’s there to track down Tom Sheldon, his former boss and mentor, who has gone rogue with cash and intel stolen from the Agency.
Just Cause 2 is developed by Avalanche Studios and runs on their in-house engine, Avalanche 2.0. We’ve attached five screenshots. The game will see simultaneous release on PlayStation 3, Xbox 360 and PC.
