The first DLC for Saints Row IV will be presented mockumentary-style, with the game's characters explaining why certain features and scenes were cut from the game, Volition has announced.

Speaking on a panel at Comic-Con (as reported by Polygon), Volition creative director Steve Jaros said that the DLC will offer a "pastiche of all the things that were cut out of the game", which include a flying, fire-breathing dragon, and a Bollywood-style dance number.

The DLC is called Enter the Dominatrix – the name of a piece of DLC that was planned for Saints Row: The Third before Volition opted to develop a full sequel.

Enter the Dominatrix is expected about six weeks after Saints Row 4 launches.

A second DLC was also mentioned at the Comic-Con panel, which had Jaros pretty excited.

"I just wrote the cutscenes for that one, and in all honesty, it's my favourite thing I've ever done for the franchise," he said.

Saints Row IV is due out on August 23 for Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, and Windows PC.

In related news, the Australian Classification Review Board has received an application to review the classification of the Saints Row IV.

The game was Refused Classification by the Board on June 19.

It is not yet known whether a cut version has been submitted, but either way the Board will announced its decision on July 29.
