Update:

It looks like Treyarch has noticed the outcry over Nuketown 2025 being removed, because it's now back.

The map is part of a new playlist called "Bonus", which also includes the maps Carrier, Cargo, Express, Hijacked, Slums, and Standoff. design director David Vonderhaar tweeted.

"No playlist is guaranteed to last forever, but we'll probably keep it around for a bit," he added.

Original story:

Black Ops II’s Nuketown 2025 map has been pulled from the game's multiplayer playlist rotation.

"Double XP weekend is official [sic] over. That means Nuketown 2025 / 24-7 is as well. I know. RIGHT? Don't kill the messenger," tweeted Black Ops II design director David Vonderhaar.

The removal of the map – a preorder incentive – is something of a surprise, although it is still available in custom games and will be back for special events.

As to whether the map would ever be available in regular playlists, “Yeah. Probably eventually. We are talking that over internally,” wrote Vonderhaar.
