I hate how we have to get stuff through Europe. Yes we are part of the commonwealth and have th same English spelling as the UK - but we're on the other side of the world!
I'm sure it affects the price, because UK prices seem to be higher than U.S. Why can't NZ and Aus get products shipped direct? I would think it would cut shipping prices here.

Dual view sounded interesting, not enough to make me want a 3d monitor but if I ever need one I certainly look at it.

And most people are using HD formats these days anyway. Doesn't change the fact that we are a PAL territory.

Do all those places have to go through Europe? I'm doubtful.

Those places tend not to get games at all.
