Nolan North hints at Uncharted 3

Ubiquitous videogame voice actor Nolan North has followed up on the probable speculation that production of Uncharted 3 will begin this year.

Speaking with publication GamePro, North said he has a busy year ahead of him with sequels to both Assassin’s Creed II and Uncharted 2 on the calendar. North’s comments come on the back of developer Naughty Dog’s hints that there are "lots of adventures" left for Nathan Drake.

In the GamePro article, North discusses his career, in which he describes his work-life imbalance: "‘My all day is probably 4-hour days,’ he says. It may not be The 4-Hour Work Week, but 20 hours a week isn't bad. One that lets him ‘be a dad and husband more than most people.’

‘I'm constantly waiting to be found out; for someone to say, 'Jig's up! You're having too much fun!' If they don't figure it out, I'm putting 'He got away with it' on my tombstone.’"

North was a nominee at the Spike Video Game Awards 2009 for best voice acting for his work as Nathan Drake in Uncharted 2. He lost out to Tatooine farmboy Mark Hamill for his work as The Joker in Batman: Arkham Asylum.

Uncharted 2 was voted runner up Game of the Year by the Gameplanet community. You can read our review of it here.
