Nah, Just Cause was good (admittedly heavily flawed) and the engine provided some breath taking vistas. PROTIP: Use a gamepad next time.

Is the first one worth $25?

IMO yes, it's highly flawed but still shit loads of fun. Note that the PC version is a port of the Xbox 1 version, it's missing all of the graphical enhancements from the 360 version (i.e. HDR, more detailed textures, optional per-pixel blurring).

I remember playing the first one and thought it was rather average.

However Just Cause 2 looks like fun makes no sense with the parachutes unless you like have a limited amount.

But using that hook think to tie shit together looks like fun.

Free jumping looks amazing will defiantly get this a look when it comes out.

Wow, thats really cool. The only flaw i can think of is the 'state of the art AI' is incredibly useless, you have the armour of a tank, or he was using some kind of god mode while demonstrating things. Probably the latter.

I hope its as dynamic in movement as he makes it look.
