Ubisoft has confirmed that R.U.S.E will include Move compatibility on the PlayStation 3 when the game releases later this year.

Using the controller as a pointer, players will be able to select units, create structures and move the camera.

Speaking with Eurogamer, senior producer Mathieu Girard said, “I wasn't sure if it was just going to be a gadget but it turns out it's a very cool and natural controller. We're very excited about it.” He went on to say that using Move creates “the most enjoyable [R.U.S.E] experience” but suggested that the PC’s mouse and keyboard will remain the most efficient.

Girard also confirmed that R.U.S.E will not be compatible with Microsoft’s Kinect motion sensing controller, stating that the main “stumbling block” was that Kinect requires the player to be standing up.

No buttons would also make playing a real-time strategy like R.U.S.E very difficult.
