A thoroughly entertaining game that has a wide appeal for young and old. The low level of violence and simplicity of challenge makes it easy to play. A good solid family game that we highly recommend.

LEGO Batman launch trailer released

Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment have released the launch trailer for LEGO Batman: The Videogame, available in North America, for PC, PSP, PS2, PS3, Xbox 360, Wii and DS.

LEGO Batman: The Videogame brings the one-and-only Caped Crusader to life in a completely original storyline. Players will take control of the Dynamic Duo, Batman (Bruce Wayne) and Robin, as well as bonus hero Nightwing to fight Gotham City’s most notorious criminals including The Joker, The Penguin, Catwoman, Scarecrow, Killer Croc, The Riddler, Mr. Freeze, Harley Quinn, Two Face, Bane, Clayface, Poison Ivy and many more.

LEGO Batman: The Videogame is scheduled for an October 15 release in New Zealand and Australia. Check out the trailer at GP Downloads (54MB).

Warner Bros Interactive Entertainment have released a bunch of screenshots and video footage depicting the vehicles set to be included in LEGO Batman: The Videogame.

LEGO Batman: The Videogame brings the one-and-only Caped Crusader to life in a completely original storyline. Players will take control of the Dynamic Duo, Batman (Bruce Wayne) and Robin, as well as bonus hero Nightwing to fight Gotham City’s most notorious criminals including The Joker, The Penguin, Catwoman, Scarecrow, Killer Croc, The Riddler, Mr. Freeze, Harley Quinn, Two Face, Bane, Clayface, Poison Ivy and many more. The criminals have broken out of Arkham Asylum and are set to wreak havoc on the city.

Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment today presented two new characters from the highly anticipated LEGO Batman: The Videogame, developed by TT Games.

"Batman’s alter ego Bruce Wayne takes to the streets of Gotham in this latest update. Wearing a pressed designer suit and briefcase in hand, he plans to deal justice to the criminal minds who plot Gotham’s downfall. In his way stands the sultry Poison Ivy, the dastardly villain itching to put Gotham under her spell. Only the strongest of Gotham’s heroes can withstand her maniacally botanical prowess. "

In LEGO Batman: The Videogame, a stampede of notorious criminals have busted out of Arkham Asylum, where Gotham City houses only the shadiest of characters. It’s up to the famed Caped Crusader to sweep Gotham clean of criminal activity using everything at his disposal, including crime-fighting vehicles as well as several baddie-bashing bat gadgets. Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment today presented the recently revealed hero Nightwing, as well as two new villains, Clayface and Bane, from the highly anticipated LEGO Batman: The Videogame, developed by TT Games.

"Batman and Robin have a pair of new super-powered problems in the recently unveiled villains Bane and Clayface. The Dynamic Duo will need to use everything at their disposal to fight against Bane's super-strength, and the powerful Clayface. Fortunately, the Caped Crusader has a helping hand in his crime-fighting ally, Nightwing,"

Warner Bros. and developer TT Games have released a new trailer for LEGO Batman: The Videogame, which is set to release on PC, Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, Wii and PlayStation 2 in September.

LEGO Batman brings the world of DC Comics’ Caped Crusader to life in an entirely new way. Players can explore a richly interactive LEGO Gotham City as Batman and Robin, capturing infamous villains – and even take control of the villains themselves.

The minute and a half long trailer showcases the game's range of heroes and villains. The story unfolds with Batman’s greatest foes escaping from Arkham Asylum and creating mayhem throughout Gotham City. Tracking criminals, including The Joker and The Penguin, players will utilize Batman’s gadgets as well as build and operate fantastic vehicles in one or two player cooperative gameplay.
