A new trailer has been made available for Alone in the Dark, the fifth game in the series of the same name created by Infogrames. It is in development for PC, Xbox 360, and PlayStation 3 by Eden Games, and PS2 and Wii by Hydravision Entertainment.

Alone in the Dark follows a story where over the course of one apocalyptic night, hero Edward Carnby must uncover the earth-shattering secret hidden in New York's iconic Central Park.

The PC, Xbox 360, PS2 and Wii versions are set for release in New Zealand this Friday, 27th June, while the PlayStation 3 release has been delayed until later in the year.

Atari NZ have informed us that Alone in the Dark, the fifth instalment of the survival horror video game series under the same name, will be released in New Zealand Friday, June 27th.

Alone in the Dark has promised to provide a complete next-generation, action-packed experience within a highly detailed, free-roaming environment, featuring a mixture of real-time physics and full environmental interaction. The game is being developed by Eden Games, a first party studio of Infogrames Entertainment.

Alone in the Dark will be released for the PC, PS2, Xbox 360 and Wii.
