Death Stranding is easily one of the most anticipated games right now, but information on the PlayStation exclusive's numerous systems and gameplay has been scarce up to this point.
Director and all-around gaming visionary Hideo Kojima (yes, I'm a bit of a fan) took to the stage at this year's Toky Game Show to show off an expanded look at what players can expect when the game releases. Check it out below!
The gameplay presentation (only in Japanese at this stage) revealed plenty of new details including more on the connected nature of the game's world and how players will impact each other's experience. In a similar vein to the message system in Dark Souls, players will be able to leave objects in the world, like ladders to aid other players on their mission. While traversing the game's word, you'll also stumble upon the lost cargo of other players and post boxes which may contain helpful items left behind by others.
Kojima is notorious for having some out-there systems and gameplay, and it looks like Death Stranding will double down on this in every way. From the huge amount of celebrity cameos to the fact that you can give yourself a massage in the game, it's clear Death Stranding is being developed by a passionate team.
Death Stranding is set to release exclusively on the PlayStation 4 on November 8. In the meantime, check out the gameplay below and let us know what you're most excited about in the comments below.
