DICE has admitted that the Walker Assault mode in Star Wars: Battlefront is not very well balanced in its current form.

Matches on Hoth in the recent beta test period grossly favoured the Imperial side, with the Rebels rarely managing to claw out a victory.

When asked "Does this mean I suck?" by a fan on Twitter, DICE community manager Matthew Everett said, "Nope! It's a balancing issue within the beta."

Multiplayer designer Dennis Brännvall chimed in, saying, "Asymmetric modes are tricky and risky but potentially awesome, that's why we want beta test help."

The mode sees twenty Imperial snowtroopers trying to keep twenty Rebels from activating command posts that enable them to damage the Empire's towering AT-AT walkers.

Said Brännvall to an angry fan: "Believe or not, we're actually gathering gameplay data from the beta and will balance things."

For those who don't know, Star Wars: Battlefront launches November 17th on new-gen consoles and PC.
