Infamous: Second Son will be released for PlayStation 4 on March 21 next year, Sucker Punch has announced.
The open-world action-adventure game will be the third main entry in the franchise.
Set seven years after the events of Infamous 2 in Seattle, Second Son puts players in control of 24-year-old graffiti artist Delsin Rowe, whose contact with a conduit grants him superhuman powers.
Also announced at the PlayStation 4 US launch event, an upgraded version of now-former Ouya exclusive Towerfall is coming to PlayStation 4.
The up-to-four local multiplayer archery combat game will get 50 extra levels on Sony’s console, where it will be known as TowerFall Ascension.
The PlayStation 4 version will also get four extra playable archers, an all-new twelve-player cooperative Quest mode, six additional power-ups, and more.
“We’ve even gone back and refined everything in the original release,” said Matt Makes Games Inc. founder Matt Thorson.
“It feels like a whole new game. I’m incredibly excited to expand the TowerFall community to PS4, and to hear all your battle stories.”
Metal Gear Solid 5: Ground Zeroes is getting a PlayStation-exclusive "Deja Vu Mission", creator Hideo Kojima has announced.
This mission allows players to play as a retro version of Solid Snake called Classic Snake, whose character model is based on that from 1998's Metal Gear Solid.
Finally, Bungie announced that Destiny’s beta will be coming to PlayStation 3 and PlayStation 4 consoles first, but did not specify any dates.
