Bad news for Sony Computer Entertainment today, as the much anticipated sequel Killzone 3 has appeared on filesharing websites over a week before the official release date.
It's the second major victory for pirates in as many days, with word that Crytech's Crysis 2 has also been leaked to the public through the use of bittorrent filesharing.
The European version of Killzone 3 is available for download at various P2P sites, and with the included 3D support weighs in at over 40GB.
The relatively large file size may prevent rampant piracy, although that the game has been made available in the first place is undoubtedly due to the recent PS3 hack released by fail0verflow.
Whether or not Sony will be able to identify pirated copies of Killzone 3 and take action is yet to be determined; Sony Computer Entertainment have released no statement at this time.
