EA has announced today that the latest instalment in the Medal of Honor franchise will be available on PlayStation 3, Xbox 360 and PC on the 15th of October.

For the first time, Medal of Honor will leave the theatres of World War II and enter modern war-torn Afghanistan.

Additionally, players ‘will be introduced to the Tier 1 Operator, an elite warrior and relatively unknown instrument of the U.S. Military that operates under the National Command Authority,” states EA.

Duties on the singleplayer game are being handled by EA Los Angeles, while the multiplayer is in development at DICE, creators of the Battlefield series.
