Actor Willem Dafoe will not be appearing in Quantic Dreams’ Beyond: Two Souls, as was previously rumored.

When asked point-blank about the actor's involvement in the project at Comic-Con, Quantic founder David Cage simply shook his head and said: “Nice try”.

However, it was revealed that relatively unknown actor Kadeem Hardison will play a prominent role as a paranormal investigator in the game.

Eric Winter (The Mentalist) will also be involved, but his character has not been disclosed.

A rumour has surfaced that Willem Dafoe is joining the cast of Beyond: Two Souls.

A “source familiar with the project” has allegedly leaked the information, and also claimed that other big actors will be joining the game soon.

Beyond: Two Souls already has one high-profile actor attached in Inception star Ellen Page, who plays the role of protagonist Jodie.

Dafoe is probably best known for his roles in Boondock Saints and Spider-Man, and has previously voiced characters in several Spider-Man and James Bond games.
