EA has announced Operation Hastings, a map first made famous in Battlefield: Vietnam, will be unlocked on for Battlefield: Bad Company 2 Vietnam once players in the Xbox 360, PC and PS3 community each collectively amass 69 million team actions. A team action is any/all of these: resupply, revive, heal, spot, and repair.

EA has announced that Battlefield: Bad Company 2’s Vietnam expansion will be available on PC on the 19th of December NZDT.

The expansion will be available three days later on the 22nd of December for both Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3.

Vietnam will cost 1200 Microsoft Points on Xbox 360 and approximately NZD $20 on PC and PlayStation 3.

EA have released a new trailer from Battlefield: Bad Company 2 Vietnam, the first multiplayer expansion pack for Battlefield: Bad Company 2. Special emphasis has been placed on the flamethrower in this latest video.

DICE and EA have released a series of screens showing off Bad Company 2 downloadable addon: Vietnam. The expansion is composed of four maps for both conquest and rush modes, 15 new weapons and six new vehicles. The DLC will have a beta later this month.

The Battlefield: Bad Company 2 Vietnam digital expansion pack introduces four distinct and brand new multiplayer maps based on the Vietnam War. Each map brings a new gameplay experience with elements such as foxholes, tunnels and dense jungles from where the enemy can launch surprise attacks.
