OK, it’s in its 12th release and shows no sign of slowing down or changing. Yip, you guessed it, SingStar is back yet again releasing R’n’B to a series which is turning out to be a bit like groundhog day. SingStar has enjoyed much success with some of its releases, but R’nB we are sad to report, seems more about cashing in on the series, rather than delivering a quality track list.

I’ve reviewed a few of the SingStar titles now, so its difficult to talk about a game where only its cover, name and track-list have changed. The rest of the game remains the same as it predecessors, so the only thing worth talking about is the track-list.

However if you are new to the series then in a few simple words, SingStar is Karaoke on the PS2. Sing, Solo, Duet or Battle and all you need to do is hit the most right notes to win. Or you can just sing till your hearts content and forget about scoring big and just enjoy the experience with a few friends or on your own.
