Electronic Arts’ flagship Facebook game, The Sims Social, is now more popular than Zynga’s FarmVille.

The Sims Social has 9.3 million active daily users compared to FarmVille’s 8.1 million daily users.

The Sims Social is second only to Zynga’s CityVille. The Sims Social launched a mere three weeks ago.

EA and developer Playfish expect the game’s numbers to increase in the weeks and months ahead.
