Ukrainian professional eSports team Na’Vi has won the first-ever Dota 2 tournament at Gamescom in Cologne, Germany. In doing so, the five-player team has claimed US$1 million in winnings.

Na’Vi beat Chinese team EHOME 3 to 1 in a best of five grand final. EHOME will pocket $250,000 for second place.

Replays of the finals can be watched on the official Dota 2 website.

The tournament marked the official unveiling of Valve’s real-time strategy title Dota 2. The original Dota was a mod of Blizzard’s Warcraft III.

Dota 2 is to be released for PC next year.
