EA has announced that Medal of Honor has gone into open beta for PC.

To participate, simply download the client from the game’s official website.

The open beta is very brief, running only until the 8th of October NZST.

EA states that the purpose of the late, brief beta is to clear up any misunderstanding about the Afghan setting.

"We hope that by offering the multiplayer open beta, we can clear up any misunderstanding about the patriotism and respect that are the foundation of this game," said EA Games boss Frank Gibeau. "The Medal of Honor franchise has always shown extraordinary reverence for American and Allied soldiers - this game is no exception."
