Electronic Arts and DICE today announced the Premium Pass for their upcoming World War One shooter Battlefield 1.
Described as a "membership programme," the pass operates similarly to the equivalents in other games, mirroring Star Wars Battlefront's season pass almost exactly.
Premium Pass holders will get access to all 4 upcoming expansions to the game, boasting two-week exclusivity periods over those buying the packs separately.
Beginning in March 2017 with a pack exploring the French campaign, the packs will collectively contain 16 new multiplayer maps, as well as new game modes, character classes, weapons, and vehicles.
Pass holders will also receive a series of weapon skin packs and a set of exclusive dog tags, released over the course of the pass period.
The premium pass will set players back US$49, or the local-currency equivalent; a bundle will also be available containing the base game and the premium pass.
