Skyrim total conversion Enderal will release next month, after years of development.
The mod completely replaces Skyrim's standard world and gameplay with its own, offering between 30 and 100 hours of gameplay, according to development team SureAI.
Its world spans a range of landscapes, telling "an unconventional story with psychological and philosophical undercurrents," and featuring "multi-faceted, believable characters" voiced by professional actors.
Gameplay follows a more traditional RPG format than Skyrim, with enemy scaling removed and levelling accomplished with XP and skill books.
Enderal is a sequel to Nehrim: At Fate's Edge, a total conversion of previous Elder Scrolls game Oblivion.
That mod has been downloaded over 200,000 times from ModDB, and was named Mod of the Year 2010 by PC Gamer.
Enderal launches in German between July 1st and 3rd, 2016, with the English version coming "some weeks later."
