A Finnish boardgame designer claims to have the legal rights to “Heroes of the Storm”, the name Blizzard has recently trademarked for its upcoming MOBA title.

Mike Pohjola created an IndieGoGo campaign for “Myrskyn Sankarit” in 2012, which translates to Heroes of the Storm, and the game was released this July.

Blizzard filed for the Heroes of the Storm trademark the United States, Europe and other countries in September. Pohjola filed for the Finnish trademark in October.

Blizzard will release more information on its MOBA at BlizzCon, taking place over the 8th and 9th of November at the Anaheim Convention Center.

Blizzard released a trailer to coincide with the announcement of the game’s name.
