Valve-endorsed Half-Life 2 mod upgrades visuals

A new fan-made Valve-endorsed Half-Life 2 mod that improves the game’s visuals will be available from tomorrow on Steam.

Half-Life 2: Update is a free release that adds improved lighting, effects, textures, and some bug fixes to the classic shooter.

It also includes more than 100 community-recorded commentary notes about development and the impact of Half-Life 2 itself, featuring the voices of well-known Youtubers including Caddicarus, Brutalmoose, Ricepirate, Balrog the Master, ProJared, and Ross Scott from Freeman's Mind.
