Electronic Arts have today announced that BioWare’s Dragon Age: Origins is their most socially popular title.
DragonAge.com has set a new record for traffic within the EA network and BioWare’s social network now has more than five million members.
As EA rightly points out, it’s a remarkable achievement for a new intellectual property.
BioWare founder and RPG/MMO manager at EA, Dr. Ray Muzyka, extended a note of thanks to the game’s community. “We want to thank our fans for their enthusiasm and ongoing support. The passion within the community is not only helping drive momentum for Dragon Age referrals but our actively engaged fan base is eager for future content releases, which we are committed to deliver.”
BioWare will today be relaunching their Mass Effect 2 website with more connectivity to their social network in anticipation of the sequel’s release late in January.
