Replay Games has secured the rights to digital pervert Leisure Suit Larry and is to re-release the original games in HD next year. The game will be coming to Windows, Mac, iOS, Android, XBLA, PSN and Steam.

I never really got the appeal of this game series. Was it targeted at 13-year-old boys or something? I somehow doubt that it was Al Lowe's writing which drew the majority of consumers to keeping buying them.

Well this is actually better news than I anticipated when reading the thread title. Was thinking wow, have they seriously not given up on making new Larry games? but an HD remake of the original I'd be inclined to check out.
