LucasArts have announced today that Star Wars: The Force Unleashed Ultimate Sith Edition is now available on Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, and for the first time, on PCs. Conspicuously absent from this list is Nintendo’s Wii, a system on which much of the original hype around the title was focused.

Set between the two Star Wars film trilogies, The Force Unleashed tells the story of Darth Vader’s secret apprentice, codenamed Star Killer, and of the rise of the rebellion. The new edition explores The Force Unleashed’s alternate ending. It includes all of the game’s original levels and downloadable content in addition to a new level set on the ice planet of Hoth wherein Star Killer will confront Luke Skywalker for the first time.

Originally released in September 2008, the game quickly became the fastest-selling Star Wars game ever, and has since sold nearly seven million units worldwide, notes LucasArts.
