Well it's shipped in North America, and it'll be released here on Friday. Had a chat with Ubisoft NZ and they reckon the PC version in just about sold out. Check out the launch trailer - anyone got this on preorder?

I am keen but never played the first. But love games like Gun. Would I miss out much story wise?

You could probably get away with not playing the first one since CoJ2 is a prequel, but you'd appreciate the story more if you've finished CoJ1.

Cool, looks like my kinda game, they need more games like this imo. I'm bored with WWII settings.

CoJ was awesome when it came out. Didn't even know about a 2nd version. Will be a must buy for me.

Holy shit, this game is so fun. I missed the first one, and I don't care for the cutscenes anyway.

I got to Act 2 in one go last night, wasting Yanks with a cannon then sharpshooting dudes on a boat... Good times

^ Yea it feels like COD in the first part, huge amounts of fun. I'm up to chapter 5 and the games stopped working in a duel, the dudes hand won't move when I move the mouse

Picked it up the other day, wicked game. The graphics and atmosphere are incredible in some places too, especially considering how smoothly the game runs even with all the options cranked up to their highest settings.

Definitely one of the most fun FPS games I've been played in a while.

this looks awesome although.. probley wouldnt run of my shitty pc.

hmm, hard to say, you might be surprised though... the graphics engine seems to be really well optimized, especially compared to the previous Call of Juarez game.

Graphics are top notch, got a fair bit of tearing but vsync sorted that out. Rock solid 60fps with everything maxed. I believe its the assassins creed engine they are using, sure is a keeper

Yeah I noticed that, it's not too bad though. Couldn't find a setting for vsync in the options, might try forcing it in Nvidia control panel.. My only other complaint would be the horses - doesn't feel like they handle very well. But that's a minor hiccup.

I prefer Ray personally, a gruff bastard with a bad attitude slinging double pistols is my kind of character That, and I'm not very good with the bow or throwing knives.
