Bohemia Interactive’s sandbox military shooter has received a patch today which includes several bug fixes, a new gameplay mode and additional features, such as a new attack helicopter, the AH-64D Apache.

Additionally, the 1.05 patch introduces a new mini campaign, Eagle Wing, that expands on one of the seven endings to ArmA II. The new Warfare mode, curiously entitled When Diplomacy Fails, supports three-sided online war with the ability to use diplomacy to create alliances.

Developer Marek Španěl discusses some of the changes on his blog, writing, "With this new update, ARMA II users receive an important improvement of the game. We hope you will enjoy it and that the effort we put into it was worthwhile for everyone. We hope you will enjoy your visit to Chernarus even more now, until the new operation in Takistan starts."
