Eidos has released a playable demo of Battlestations: Pacific, allowing you to try the PC version ahead of the 28 May New Zealand release date.

In Battlestations: Pacific, you'll be able to experience one war through two epic sagas. Commanding the US Fleet, you can relive the grandest and most critical naval battles of the Pacific War, and for the first time as the Japanese, players lead the IJN Fleet to a completely different ending to the war.

Eidos have released a new trailer showcasing the upcoming sequel Battlestations: Pacific.

Set in WWII, Battlestations: Pacific delivers intense, action-packed combat and strategic warfare on an extraordinary scale and features two distinctly different single player campaigns.

As the Americans, the game picks up the story where Battlestations: Midway left off and allows players to fight their way from The Battle of Midway to Okinawa as they try to secure peace in the Pacific.

 

Gearbox Software have issued the following press release/fact sheet and series of screenshots for BattleStations: Pacific, due to be released next year for the PS3, PC and Xbox 360 platforms;
