Street Fighter IV PC gets release date

Microsoft have announced that Street Fighter IV for PC will be released to the North American market on July 7th. It is due for release in New Zealand this Friday, July 3rd.

Players will be able to play their favourite classic characters, such as Ryu, Ken, Chun-Li and Guile, along with new characters, including Crimson Viper, Abel, El Fuerte, and Rufus. Characters and environments are rendered in stylized 3D, while the game is played in the classic Street Fighter 2D perspective with additional 3D camera flourishes.

I bet there are alot of places around - Found this @ XP Computers not sure if its reliable though - Havent used that one before but, cheap.

You could always get some kind of PS2 pad and then get a converter. The super joy box 3 from playasia is highly recommended.

Depends what brand the button and stick are. He says the joystick is as good as sanwa but I doubt it.

DR_F i couldn't find anything there. I've purchased PC SFIV and i want a premium fightboard for PC does anyone have any ideas? Not including getting an old coin-op SF2 case

I guess i wait till thursday for replies, as i said i want premium. SF2 was god when i was a teenager i used to pay $7 for 3 hours free play (saturday from 7pm if i remember correctly) on all the arcades at WIZARDS in CHCH. So SFIV i want the closest to that experience as i can get. Arcades....those were the days! (wizards- two stories of gaming machines...it's now a second hand clothing store

)

If you want Premium then expect to shell out 350 to 400 bucks. If you arent into tourneys and just wanna play casually, you can organise something for less than 200.

check playasia.com. all ps3 and 360 wired sticks will work on pc

^^^ hey Lennysaurus thanks for the link. I want the total package as i said i want as close to arcade as possible. Money is no problem but i want the joystick to be as close as possible to arcade quality. Any ideas? Especially a NZ link if that exists.

Pretty much Playasia for fightsticks, sold out in NZ. Tournament sticks are $400ish

Thats the PS3 version. The Xbox360 version is harder to find, but due to the electronics inside is easier to do dual mods (Dual mod makes the joystick usable on PS#, 360, as well as PC).

The great thing I like about my stick is that it is basically an arcade setup in a joystick. I have changed out the buttons (for a different brand that I prefer), and am in the process of changing the artwork on the stick and dual modding it.

Onm the nzism site. (check my sig) there is plenty of discussion about sticks, and plenty of other links. If you are going to XLAN next week, come find a whole bunch of us there... we are stick fanatics.

I have about 5 different joysticks as well as a box of assorted buttons and sticks that I swap shiht around with.

^^^^^Tournament sticks does that mean the pressure is equal no matter were you move the stick?

Jesus those pads are expensive. Might have to hack up an old Genesis controller instead.

japanese style stick. But very high grade parts. buttons and stick are very sensitive.

^^^thanks chief unfortunatly i'm in chch so your tourny is to far away but it sounds fantastic. So the Street Fighter IV Tournament Fightstick from GP link you gave is the shizzle? including PC games that support Xbox 360 gamepad controllers=SFIV for PC USB????If i can use this for PC SFIV i'm set can anyone confirm this?
