The PC version of Activision's new third-person action title Prototype is available now for pre-purchase and download on Steam. It will be unlocked for play on 14 June, and costs US$66 ($105) to download.
The retail boxed version will be released in New Zealand tomorrow.

Activision Publishing confirmed today that Prototype will ship to New Zealand on the 12th June.
The games official website has also been updated, and now features the first half of Prototype's intro cinematic, along with newly added game information and content.
In Prototype, players assume the role of Alex Mercer – a genetically mutated man without memory, armed with shape-shifting abilities, who is hunting to discover what created him.
