Command & Conquer 3: Kane's Wrath PC

Review

Command & Conquer 3: Kane's Wrath brings epic units and a fantastic global conquest mode to the never-ending sci-fi universe. It's a solid title, and one that offers hours of heavily strategic gameplay.

C&C 3: Kane's Wrath Q&A

GP: Fans of the C&C series will want to know about the new Global Conquest mode – has the implementation of this changed the gameplay beyond what seasoned C&C veterans will expect?

Glosecki: The Global Conquest Mode allows players to strategically manage their armies from the high, global level. It’s a great way to continue the single-player experience after you’ve gone through the campaign. The Global Conquest Mode is extremely replayable, as each faction has unique alternate victory conditions to strive for. We think it’s a great addition to Kane’s Wrath.

GP: What are the significant differences between the Xbox 360 version and the PC release?

Command & Conquer 3: Kane's Wrath

Due to be released around early April, Command & Conquer 3: Kane's Wrath is the latest instalment of one of the most successful RTS franchises ever. We managed to score a great first look at this title before it is released around early April in New Zealand, along with an introduction session with producer Mike Glosecki.

Glosecki:[i] So, Kane's Wrath has a great new single-player campaign, and it spans twenty years. It tells the story from the end of Tiberium Sun, goes through the events that happened in C&C 3, and tells some of the story after C&C 3 Tiberium Wars. It's coming out (for North America) on March 26th for PC, and June for Xbox 360. Some of the new cool stuff we have, besides the single-player campaign, are the epic units.

We also have two new actors, Carl Lumbly from the Alias series, and Natasha Henstridge you may remember from Species. Joe Kucan is back as Kane, and he's as intense in real life as he is in the video, he's always yelling and screaming!
