No Darksiders 2 until 2013? (eurogamer) - Good news for Darksiders fans: publisher THQ has confirmed a sequel is in development. Bad news for Darksiders fans: it won’t be out until 2012 at the earliest.

PS3-exclusive DLC for AC Brotherhood (eurogamer) - PlayStation 3 owners will be the beneficiaries of exclusive free downloadable content for Assassin's Creed Brotherhood, Ubisoft has announced.

Epic: Gears of War possible on iPhone in two years (vg247) - Epic/Chair Entertainment’s Donald Mustard told Eurogamer while talking about the recently renamed Infinity Blade: “I think it’s going to be an interesting future, especially if in two years we can really run Gears of War on an iPhone.”

“If not two years, then certainly five years,” technical director Germey Mustard added.

THQ net sales come in at $77 million for Q2 FY11, losses in line with guidance (vg247) - THQ has reported its financial results for quarter two of the company’s fiscal year 2011, which ended on September 30, and it finds the publisher with net sales of $77 million, compared with $101 million in the prior-year period.

BioShock Infinite is to Unreal Engine 3 as BioShock was to Unreal Engine 2.5 (Joystiq) - Despite an aging engine under the hood, the artists at Irrational were able to make BioShock look more UE3 than UE2.5. And now they're promising the same treatment leap for the UE3-powered (and still-way-off) BioShock Infinite.
