Ubisoft have announced today that Assassin’s Creed II players will be able to try the beta version of their Uplay service on PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360. Uplay will offer four services: Uplay Win, Uplay Help, Uplay Share and Uplay Shop.
The beta launches with only Uplay Win currently functional. The Uplay Win service trades in-game collectables for rewards such as exclusive content and “goodies”. In Assassin’s Creed II, for example, players can win access to the Auditore family crypt and a real Altair costume – perfect attire for weddings, barbeques, or just around the home.
Alternately, you can save your points, accumulated across platforms on Ubisoft games, and spend them on upcoming titles such as Tom Clancy’s Splinter Cell Conviction.
