Gamescom is only half way through and I'm already blown away by the amazing trailers and gameplay footage we've seen so far.

The judges have somehow managed to whittle down the list of over one hundred submissions to come up with the winners for this year's Gamescom Awards.

There aren't many surprises, with Spider-Man, Ori and the Will of the Wisps and Super Smash Bros. Ultimate all winning the award for best game on their respective platform.

I've also discovered that Farming Simulator is called Landwirtschafts Simulator in Germany. I think we can all agree to only use that name going forward.
