RocketWerkz tactics/FPS hybrid Out of Ammo is now available on PlayStation VR.
The Kiwi-made title has players build bases and defenses RTS-style, then go in guns blazing FPS-style against waves of enemies.
Players can switch between the roles rifleman, sniper, medic, rocketeer, and engineer; and there are eight different locations to play on; and a variety of modes to investigate.
Out of Ammo for PlayStation VR is the first game published by Pinball FX creator Zen Studios.
"We at Zen liked it so much, we worked with them to make sure it could reach the PS VR audience as well — because it deserves to be played by as many gamers as possible!" said Zen community manager Akos Gyorkei last year.
On PC, there is an Out of Ammo zombie-infested standalone sequel available called Out of Ammo: Death Drive.
Last year, Hall wrote on Reddit that the sheer complexity of VR development made Out of Ammo "very unprofitable", despite decent sales.
RocketWerkz is currently working on hardcore space sim Stationeers (which is currently available via Steam Early Access), and a project called Living Dark, which is a neo-noir adventure driven by a procedural narrative.
