Battlefield: Bad Company 3 is in the works at DICE, according to the YouTuber who leaked many details about Battlefield 1.
YouTuber AlmightyDaq's channel only contains three videos, but one of them leaked details of DICE's WWI shooter, including its name, era, weaponry, and development names for its maps in March 2016 – months before Battlefield 1 was even announced.
On Tuesday, AlmightyDaq posted a new video, in which he claims that DICE is working on Battlefield: Bad Company 3, which he says will take place in the span from the Vietnam War up to the Cold War.
The campaign will feature missions from across this whole era, but they will not be historically accurate.
He also claims multiplayer will have an emphasis on tighter maps compared to Battlefield 1 and Battlefield 4 – stuff more along the lines of Harvest Day, Oasis, and Grand Bazaar from Battlefield 3.
Conquest, Rush, Operations, TDM, and Domination are all returning, and a new 5v5 mode similar to Squad Obliteration from Battlefield 4 will debut.
Weapon customisation will be at the level it was in Battlefield 4, and available vehicles will include tanks, LAVs, helicopters.
The four main classes of Assault, Engineer, Support, and Recon are all returning.
Battlepacks may return, but there’s no plan to add microtransactions.
The game will apparently be revealed at E3 next year.
